China based assistant

Title:
Local Assistant Based in Yiwu or Zhejiang Province, China

Description:
We are looking for a reliable and proactive local assistant who is currently living in China, preferably in Yiwu or alternatively in Hangzhou (or other cities in Zhejiang Province).

This is an ongoing collaboration for various in-person and territory-based tasks, primarily involving:

Local market research and supplier visits in Yiwu Market (Futian Market)

Product scouting and price comparison

Quality checks and supplier verification

Coordinating with local vendors and logistics partners

Translating and facilitating communication (English–Chinese)

Requirements:

Must currently reside in China (mandatory)

Living in Yiwu is highly preferred, or nearby cities in Zhejiang Province

Good communication skills in English and Chinese

Experience in sourcing, procurement, or trade is a plus

Trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented

This position may include both remote tasks and in-person assignments. Ideal for someone familiar with Yiwu’s business ecosystem.
