Job Title: Chartered Surveyor - Housing Disrepair Specialist Surveying Practice

We are a well-established surveying practice specialising in Housing Disrepair surveys. Our commitment to excellence and our deep understanding of housing law have made us a trusted partner for legal professionals. We are currently seeking a Chartered Surveyor to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our surveying reports. This is a fully remote position.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for reviewing and checking surveying reports generated by our team of experts. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reports meet our high standards of accuracy and quality. Active membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is not a mandatory requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report Quality Assurance: Review and meticulously check Housing Disrepair survey reports to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards.
* Communication: Effectively communicate and raise queries with the surveying team regarding any discrepancies or concerns in the reports.
* U.K Housing Law Knowledge: Utilise your understanding of housing law to assess report compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Support and training will be given.
* Remote Work: Successfully work remotely while maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.
Qualifications:
* Chartered Surveyor (current membership of the RICS not required)
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
* A good understanding of housing law, particularly in relation to disrepair issues, is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills for communication with surveyors.
* Proficiency in using relevant surveying software and tools, we use HUBSPOT, SLACK and NINOX. Training can be given for all.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote work environment.
