Description

Hello,
I am in search for an automated spreadsheet regarding publicly traded stocks that offers live updates on specific information from a specific website. I would prefer it to work in Apple Numbers as that is my preferred platform yet open to changing to Google Docs, Excel etc if it is the only option.
I appreciate that Apple Numbers already pull some stock information through, but it does not pull through the information I require and they do not update live (they are on NY market time at close of every day).
The functionality I want is outlined below:
1. Enter a stock ticker symbol into a column
2. Specific data such as: 'price', 'volume', 'relative strength', 'average true range' is automatically pulled from a source website into the designated columns
3. This information will update live as the site updates the chosen information (every 10 seconds)
That is all I require.
I currently receive all my data from a data source website (screenshot supplied) and I have circled the information that I would want to pull through to my designated spreadsheet.
I have also attached my spreadsheet as a visual representation of what I require.
To be clear the main objectives are:
• I can enter any stock symbol into my spreadsheet and get the required information
• All information is constantly updated live in sync with the data source website.
• To move away from manual input and automate my information.
I actually don't know if any of this is actually possible but any help in the right direction would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you,
Adam
