Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
General information for the business: Application and Desktop Virtualization
Industry: Technology
Description of excel work: I'm trying to create a simple tool to give away to application virtualization professionals.
I'm using Excel to map the steps in a flowchart using conditional formatting (as you answer yes/no it moves you to the next question/cell).
At the moment I have a colour showing which question you need to answer next (grey), but i'd like it to move to the cell as well. also once a deployment option has been identified (it changes the cell colour) i'd like the focus to move to the next blank row.
Finally I'd like a summary page to show a count of how many rows are coloured red, blue etc. across the three tabs, desktop, web and browser.
I'm attaching what I've done so far and you can see the results so far on the Web Application tab. Just add an application name, then move to the first question to answer Yes/No.
This is the flowchart i'm following:
https://www.algiz-technology.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/App-V-Compatibility-Tool-5.1-October-17.pdf
Any suggestions on making this more robust so that users don't break it most welcome, and there's scope to keep developing it once its released.

Waseem
You require a quote for doing it or for directing you on how to do it?Waseem R.23 Oct 2017Quote for doing it. Thx
TSOLUTIONS23 Oct 20171 week ok?

Do you want to achieve this only by Conditional formatting and Excel formulas, or is there a scope for Macro or VBA program here
Waseem R.23 Oct 2017I'd prefer to stick to formatting, formulas and macros. If I can avoid VBA that would be good, because a lot of the techies using this will be unhappy about running untrusted scripts on their machines.
Sathish S.23 Oct 2017I dont think, getting focus and counting by cell color would be possible by plain excel formulas
