Kernow Rating Services requires an appointment booker to generate 4 appointments per day minimum.
This will be to offer commerical property occupiers (e.g. Pubs, Garages, Petrol Stations, Shops etc) a \"no cost\" assessment on their non domestic rates (basically its council tax for businesses) AKA Business Rates.
We have found that many commercial occupiers are either over rated or not receiving the discount they are entitled to, quite often we are able to back date any over payment they have made for at least 12 months sometimes longer, average savings can be 40-50%.
An appointment maker is required to book four minimum appointments per day, I used to do the telemarketing myself but due to other commitments I am unable to do so at the moment, sometimes you can book 6/7+ appointments per day, Out of 80-100 telephone calls you should be able to get 4/5 appointments for the very next day, the prospect has nothing to lose as the rating assessment is initially at no cost to them, our rating assessor will visit and establish if they are being over rated, however this is not always the case and if we cant make any worthwhile saving we will tell them and then ask for a referral of someone else thats in business that we can go and see.
