Experience Level: Intermediate
Current server spec is 4 core, 16GB ram with single instance of tomcat & mySQL. The server is dedicated to a single Java JSON web service serving approx 200-300 requests per minute for approximately 20,000 users.
Need a new EC2 setup designed and built to support at least 500,000 users, but capable of expanding to anything thrown at it.
A backup/dev instance of the server will also be required for failover and testing purposes. This should be a copy of the primary production server, but smaller scale.
