Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for a front end javascript developer to build us a rich & interactive application to control a PTZ IP camera with.
We are using an Axis PTZ camera which have a very extensive API.
Please see the attached PNG image which explains exactly what we are looking for. We need a fixed quote for completing all details explained in the attachment.
The design can be quite minimal but it must be visually attractive and intuitive to use. You may wish to use Twitter Bootstrap as it already has many of the controls you will need.
We anticipate the javascript will be done using jQuery so you must be a very strong & experienced jQuery expert. Some aspects may need to be done in native javascript.
We are essentially copying the existing web interface that is already on the cameras and has most of the features. If you would like to test it / check it out I can send you a login for the camera so you can see how the 'joystick' and 'centre' modes work as well as some of the other aspects. You can probably take a lot of inspiration from the existing javascript code on the camera.
Please remember we want a fixed price for this project & the final balance will not be handed over until all features explained in the brief have been completed and the 'joystick' control method works as well and as instantly as on the original camera.
We are more than happy to work with a freelancer from outside the UK as long as you speak good English and your coding skills are up to scratch :)
We are looking to start immediately.
Thanks
