Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I need a curtained viewing booth for ultra violet art. Similar to the kind of hood used by photographers for soft light except it needs to exclude all light instead.
In use it will sit on a desk and the viewer will stick their head through the curtains.
Needs to be light and strong and easily dismantled for transportation.
Inside needs to be painted black and no light can penetrate once assembled. This could be achieved with thick felt strips attached to the inner edges of the booth.
Curtains can be fixed, black in colour and as long as they do a good job of removing the light can be typical blackout material.
Dimensions are 2' x 2' 6" x 1' 6" (see attached hand drawn design).
An ultra violet lamp will be fixed in the booth once delivered (so doesn't form part of the job) however a _n_ style gap at the base and back of the cabinet allowing a cable to run in will be required for power.
