Book Cover Design and Illustration, various styles

IMPORTANT: ONLY BID IF YOU ARE LIVING AND WORKING IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, EUROPE, AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND, SOUTH AFRICA, or the USA, PLEASE! Apologies, but our experience in dealing with artists from Asian, African and other less developed countries has been too complicated.

Sunpenny Publishing (including Rose & Crown, Boathooks, and Sunberry books): we are looking for experienced cover designers needed for various book cover designs, including fiction and non fiction, chick-lit, romance, saga, thrillers, children's, young adults. We are NOT look for horror styles or erotica of any kind, we want classy looking up-market covers designed by creative artists who know how to draw and paint, not just to use a computer.

You should have a portfolio of book covers to show us please. For our non-fiction, we require covers that DO NOT USE PHOTOGRAPHS. If you are an artist who simply makes collages from photos, please do not apply.

Our URGENT needs for immediate work:

1. JOMS: a classy chick-lit cover.
2. DOE: an historic Rhodesian thrilller
3. SM: a women's literary fiction cover.
4. BTN: Romance,
5. 30D: Romance
6. YM: Romantic NZ island

Note: We issue proper design briefs and while we welcome creativity of ideas, we do need the brief to be followed in each case. We do NOT pay for work done that bears no relation to the brief.
