Experience Level: Intermediate
We're looking for an experienced freelance sub-editor to help us on our Port technology International title, sub-editing our next issue. This entails sub-editing and proof reading approx 40 articles (which range from 800-1500 words each) over 2 to 3 weeks, starting ASAP.
Articles are quite technical and contain shipping and port infrastructure terminologies and content, so some experience of the maritime industry would be advantageous, and at the very least a good understanding on traditional B2B, trade journals.
Time-span: A 2 to 3 week project - we would like this all completed by end of 24 August 2012. The issue goes to print first week of September.
If successful there is the potential for regular sub-editing work on this title and others.
