Small amount of automation to be used on Windows 7 PC:
- regular download of finance data (delimited format) from internet site
- loaded into database for querying
- executed using a Windows scheduled task or on demand (e.g. on start-up, on-click)
Prefer the use of the following technology combination:
- Windows PowerShell
- Oracle Database Express (and SQL Loader)
- Windows native scheduler
Open to use of other / additional components as necessary, but want to keep solution simple.
