Auto site restore plugin for joomla

I want to create an auto site restore plugin for Joomla, the plugin will be able to do the following:

1. Create a system restore point in Akeeba
2. List all the system restore points in Akeeba so the admin user can select which one to use to restore the site
3. Select how often in hours/ mins to restore from the restore point
4. Restore the site from the restore point every x hours
5. Have a countdown to the next restore point
6. The countdown will be displayed on a page where we have {resetcountdown}
7. Create a holding page to protect the site from being interfered with while the site restore is happening

Secondary Functions

8. Reset timestamps on all comments, posts, uploads relative to the current date and time

- So the latest comment or post will be reset to today's current time and all other posts will be reset relative to that time.

So if Post 1: 15th May 2012 and Post 2 is 4th May 2012
Then when it is reset to today's date, Post 1 will be 31st May 2012 and Post 2 will be 20th May 2012.
