Audio editing (short student film - 10min)

Audio editor needed to edit and mix the dialogue and the music to a 2.1 track (L, C, R channels) and a 5.1 track (L-front R-front, C, L-rear, R-rear channels) to make a DVD.

This project cannot afford the luxury of ADR room.


- Clean up the dialogue center track as best as you can, without distorting the dialogue (don't make it sound inorganic) ProTools multi-step background noise removal techniques might be adequate for background noise removal:

- The project was recorded in Haiti. Extract or clone and loop the natural ambient noises (cricket chirping, dog barking, chicken, and other noises) place them L /or R channels in 2.1 - LF, RF, LR, /or RR channels in 5.1.

- add missing Foley sounds (ex. hand touching an object).

- Then mix the dialogue (center) to:
one 2.1 track
one 5.1 track

Deliver files in 48khz/24bit or 48khz/32bit

You will be credited and the project will be submitted to festivals
