I run a eCommerce website and recently had an comprehensive audit of my site.
1a. Include rel=”canonical” from your component pages to your “view-all” page
1b. Use the pagination mark-up rel=”next” and rel=”prev” to indicate the
relationship between component URLs in a paginated series
2. Review URLs found in Webmaster Tools/HTML Improvement/Duplicated Title tags) and implement canonical meta tags correctly.
3. Review URLs found in Webmaster Tools/HTML Improvement/Duplicated Title tags) and implement canonical meta tag on filter pages that are creating duplicated versions of a product category page.
4. Reviewing the sitemap and including URLs that are indexed by Google but have not been submitted in the sitemap file
5. Prevent search engines from accessing certain directories.
I have not specified a price as I am looking for star quality service not speed - proposals should hold this in mind.
