Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need a relatively simple website developing in Umbraco, C# and ASP.net to follow as precisely as possible an agreed design for which we have detailed specification/scope/wireframes/layouts.
Developer to be responsible for all DB configuration, connection and testing.
The wireframes and other details including sitemap will be provided to those invited to pitch and signing an online non-disclosure/non-contact agreement.
The successful candidate will need to install the resulting Umbraco package with the appropriate plugins on our webserver (which is already running an Umbraco example website).
I would prefer a UK developer but am open to international approaches.
The proposed budget of £1,500 reflects the relative simplicity of the site required with home plus three second level templates, however cleanliness of code and resulting CSS is very important.
Testing will include current versions of all major browsers under Windows and Mac OS to ensure pages will display visually in a similar, albeit not necessarily an identical way. This requirement excludes old or abandoned browsers, for example Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.
The expected schedule demands delivery, satisfactory testing and sign-off to occur within three weeks of the project being awarded. Completion is defined as an operational Umbraco website having passed testing and ready to be loaded with content through the CMS.
To be considered for this project candidates must be demonstrably experienced in Umbraco and be able to provide at least two relevant references which will be verified.
A contract and agreed timeline will need to be signed prior to commencement, which will include penalties for late delivery if due to testing failure or other developer issues.
