Artist Needed!

At this year's MFA exhibition at Goldsmiths University there will be a space allocated to emerging artists outside of the program. This is done through the joint artistic practice of Niklas Tafra and Simon Fischer. The awardee will be selected through an external panel. The selected artist will be paid a bursary of £300. Transportation can be arranged. We will also handle promotion of the artist and the show.

The space in question is 30sq m, 3,5m high, with four clean white walls without any obstructions and also plenty of floor space.

This opportunity came out of a research project regarding artists operating outside the framework of this institution. The aim is that the planned exhibition within the degree show will be a breath of fresh air and work as an institutional critique.

The deadline is 21th May, 2012.
