App Developer/Graphic Designer

Smart Phone App Developer (Mac and Android)

Darkwater Systems Limited is a software development company. We are based in Nottingham and are looking for an App Developer to join our team of developers to design and develop an App for a third party client for whom we are developing other web based programmes.

Applicants will need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of every aspect of App development with a particular empathy for the GUI/Design elements as the App must follow the clients corporate and brand guidelines closely.

The role will work alongside a new post of graphic designer we are creating and will require a high degree of co operation with our software team.

Office based preferred as working in close co operation with the management and development team will be essential at first. We are flexible in terms of either a short term contract and/or ongoing consulting. Applicants will need to demonstrate a very strong portfolio and an understanding of the project, possibly by way of creating a couple of concept designs at the short list phase.

Candidates personal profile should include a creative and innovative nature and the ability to work with the management, creative and development teams and understanding the different issue facing each.

Salary or fee is dependent on experience and ability. Start date is immediate. Hours can be flexible but based around a 9 - 5 format.
