App customizing in ZOHO

I have just started to use ZOHO for and would like to customize or have developed a specific App. There is currently a free IT support App which tracks support and help. I would like to have a similar app created or the existing one modified to track a customers order through our production process as it requires the interaction with the customer and a number of technicians and front line staff. A central point of reference for all so we can see how the order is progressing would be great.
