Android Widget - designed to save battery life

This is a widget consisting of 5 buttons.
The key button on the widget will be used to deactivate/activate the Data network mode.
Along with this there will be a 'Qucik Check' button, that will (if datanetwork off) turn on the data networks, check email, turn off datanetwork.
The 3rd button will be a 'Timer Check' that if on will turn on network & check email (and apps) to a set timer.
The 4th button is a link to the Tools, which is the settings for the widget, allowing you to set the time for the 'Timer Check'.
And lastly there will be a Flight mode on and off (not show in the attached file).

I would like this to all be styled to the latest Android style guide (http://developer.android.com/design/index.html), but be able to run on older versions of android (at least to 2.0 if possible).

This will be a free app, and because of this I would like links out in the settings to fb and twitter, along with other integration (to be discussed later).

I am also looking to work on the project, supplying all the design and look of the app and features.
