Amend website registration form so it remembers information in case of failed send

I am looking for someone to amend a PHP based registration form so that it remembers the information submitted in case of a failed recaptcha attempt.

At the moment the page reloads / registration form reloads when an attempt at the recaptcha is failed and this can be frustrating if a user has spent 30 mins to an hour filling in the form as they have to start again.
