Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
We require an Amazon datafeed listings expert, who can guarantee to set up and install a product datafeed file into our Amazon.co.uk Central area. This needs to be set up to enable us to have the datafeed file updated and uploaded to our Amazon account, every day at 10:00am GMT. If you are not an Amazon.co.uk expert, with extensive datafeed installation experience, who can guarantee to offer a satisfactory solution for this job, please don’t bid. We require to be able to check examples of datafeed work completed on Amazon, and require quotes from freelancers with good feedback. We have a limited budget for this job!
Our supplier is www.pixmania-pro.com and their datafeed file is located here, (see below). The feed is updated every day by our supplier, between 8-9:00am GMT:
http://www.pixmania-pro.com/pixprofeeds/8c1003235e02b9edce43a90d128e6d77
Our website, ie www.uboughtit.com, uses the same datafeed above, to install the product range. This is uploaded by a cron job every day at 10:00am, through our hosting company.
A small number of products in the feed, don’t have barcodes as yet and are not able to be uploaded into the Amazon system. The above datafeed file needs to be made compatible for the Amazon.co.uk inventory upload, (Excel), and uploaded into the Amazon system every day, at 10:00am GMT, in order that all the new datafeed stock information, ie new prices, stock available for sale/delivery that day, is installed and uploaded into our Amazon inventory area every day. This will enable us to list the products our supplier has in-stock that day, and to ensure we only offer those in-stock items for sale, at the correct selling price.
This is a new venture with Amazon, and our Amazon Account Manager installed the above datafeed on a ‘Live’ trial basis, for two days last week, to demonstrate how effective Amazon.co.uk was. He installed and adapted the above datafeed to suit the Amazon.co.uk platform, and it was live for a 24 hour period. In that period 22 orders came through, so we know the product range will sell, but more importantly, we now know the above datafeed can be easily adapted to work within the Amazon.co.uk framework. The datafeed that Amazon installed for us, is still in our inventory area, but is set to ‘Inactive’, until we can find a freelancer to offer a satisfactory solution to install/upload this datafeed into the Amazon.co.uk platform. It can be viewed to confirm the datafeed is acceptable and can be adapted to be installed into the Amazon system.
Full access to our Amazon.co.uk Central area, will be given to the successful bidder. Payment to be made after full Amazon testing, to confirm the installed datafeed is successfully installed, as per the normal Amazon.co.uk listing procedures, and is being updated with the latest datafeed upload every day at 10:00am.
Once this operation is successfully completed, we plan to open an Amazon Webstore, using the same datafeed, and our on-going plan is to add more datafeeds on our Amazon.co.uk platform. More work will be available for the winning bidder, who can provide an excellent job, at a very good price. We must stress that price is a very important factor in selecting a bid.
