The operation
Social Advisors helps professionals working for themselves or in small sets to generate sales opportunities through digital channels using our low cost, valuable content.
We produce current, insightful content that prompts engagement because it is personalisedby our advisor clients for their clients.
• Content =
o Web copy
o Blog copy
o Twitter feeds
o Presentations/prezis
o Infographics
o Video
o Etc
• We commission content and brief freelance writers/video/graphic production
• We manage/coordinate the briefing/production/sign off/distribution of content
• As part of the process we coordinate third party compliance approval
• We have a network of freelancers across copywriter/ video/graphic production/compliance
• We also measure and analyse performance of copy
Our clients (initially)
• We distribute content to the financial intermediary market place – IFAs or IFA networks (servicing members)
• Covering pensions/savings/investments/insurance
• Whilst content is complied it is still the responsibility of the IFA network/individual IFA to ensure content as used is complied. Our added value compliance speeds the internal compliance process and provides a level of authentification/quality
We are entering into an agreement with Panacea Advisor.
We will be supplying content (as outlined above) to Panacea in turn Panacea will be offering this content to their members via their website. To access the content the members will have to subscribe. We make our money on the subscription whilst we also give Panacea a percentage.
We have prepared three documents courtesy of some online templates to cover the following:
• Assignment of copyright etc to be signed by any of our freelancers
• An agreement between ourselves and Panacea outlining services/copyright etc and the general terms of our service
• An agreement between ourselves and the Panacea members who subscribe to receive the content
We want to:
• Own the content that is commissioned and produced
• Control its initial distribution
• Ensure that its understood formal compliance approval is the responsibility of the ifa or controlling network
• Be clear we do not offer financial advice only commentary
I have attached early drafts of the agreements.
