Adding openwysiwyg to registration form

I have a registration form on a web site which allows people to fill in their profile and registration details.

One of the parts of this form is a textarea where people are asked to enter a description. I have implemented openwysiwyg from www.openwebware.com into the form although I am unable to code it correctly so that when the information is entered into the MySQL database that it is entered in the format it is written i.e displaying paragraphs, bold etc.

I require someone to assist in completing this work so that the information that a user enters is displayed in the database correctly and is outputted on the web site in the same format as well.
