Add K2 to my Joomla 2.5.4 installation.

Experience Level: Intermediate
I'm having trouble adding K2 to my Joomla installation. I use the normal install procedure for Joomla, and get a successful install confirmation after upload. However, the menu in the admin does not show up. Would like to get this job done for $15 already in my balance from canceled job.
