Description
Experience Level: Expert
NOTE: Please DO NOT apply if you do not have experience working with Twitter Bootstrap.
This is for a new, professional magazine with a focus on emerging technologies for improving local government competitiveness.
For this job, I will provide you with an off-the-shelf Bootstrap theme, our magazine's logo, and a short description of the magazine and target audience. I need the following done:
1. Adapt the design to more closely match the magazine's concept and the logo colour scheme.
2. Design an article content page template. Most published articles will be several (4 - 10) pages long, mostly text, few pictures. Make sure the content template is clean, readable, accessible, with proper pagination, focuses on the content, and that it includes the ability for us to highlight important passages, quotes and key-facts throughout the text (e.g., in feature boxes), in order to make the content look more lively.
3. Include a page template that will host a magazine subscription form (for the PDF and print versions of the magazine). Include a strong, highly-visible call-to-action element on the index page that will lead to the subscriptions page.
4. Provide more suitable graphic elements and a few on-topic, royalty-free stock photography pieces.
The design must remain clean and professional all throughout, with a strong focus on readability and easy access to content.
IN YOUR PROPOSAL, PLEASE INCLUDE A LINK TO AT LEAST ONE BOOTSTRAP-BASED SITE THAT YOU'VE DESIGNED.
