Accountant / bookkeeper for small website business

We are a new website business with an increasing number of transactions, and are looking for somebody to take over the monthly accounts and year end tax returns.

Until now I have been maintaining rough accounts in Xero myself, as there were relatively few transactions. As these transactions increase, I no longer feel I have the time or capability to continue with this aspect of the business, so we are looking for somebody to step in on a weekly basis.

Our year end is in March, so we are also looking for someone to prepare the final year end accounts and tax return for the year ended 2012. There are two partners in the business, so experience dealing with personal returns would also be beneficial. As we are currently on Xero, experience on this system would be highly advantageous, however it is not a complicated system to learn so for the right candidate we are willing to be flexible.

We envisage the work to be around 3 hours a week, and probably a couple more at month ends. This is likely to steadily increase as the business grows, so it is potentially an excellent long term opportunity. Being website based, working remotely should not pose an issue, however we are based in the South Manchester area so it may prove beneficial if you were able to reach this area on occasions.
