A wordpress site transferred to Magento

I have been trying to build a store in Wordpress for a client but its just not working and I don't have the technical ability to sort it out. I think the site has too many products and product variations for WP-commerce to handle and I have heard that magento is a good and stable eCommerce product. I would like to know how much it would cost to replicate this using Magento? including hosting if possible. Best Regards, Martyn
