A logo required in the first instance

I am looking for a logo for a cause I am setting up called 'Sunshine People'. Ideally would like to have something within the logo that we can make into pin badges at a later date if required.
Sunshine people will be about raising awareness of heart conditions and events for help the heroes, it will also become a website that encourages kindness amongst people, people just doing nice things for other people.

If using this method of getting a logo done is successful I am also looking for a logo for my new venture of photography. I am not a white background kind of photographer but it is all about people and trying to capture the 'faces' of people.

Anyway, Sunshine people is open to offers, would like to know costs and thoughts if possible but not sure how this system works so over to you.
