A dynamic spiral plot surface in excel

Basically I wanted a color-coded spiral plotting surface around a 10 unit high vertical axis, with each "turn" of the spiral representing a single line plot surface. I could then add data points to represent specific numbers (geometric means) ranging from Zero at vertical axis to 4 at the outermost horizontal edge of the spiral. The horizontal axis is 10-12 units in height. It's intended to look modern, unique, work in 2-D and be relatively easy to understand. A perfect 4 on each of the 10 spirals would look a bit like a 'wire frame' cylinder (to imply equal importance of all 10 vertical levels) and any values less than a perfect four would become immediately obvious to the average person because it would reduce the distance to the primary vertical axis. It would be nice if this was an excel spreadsheet, so I could enter the more than one value per spiral 'segment' or turn, and have them appear on the spiral.
