8 illustrations for a biography

I need 8 illustrations for a biography that can bring to life real scenes from a variety of situations, including war. Some details of each scene will be provided and in some cases images will be provided to show the true likelihood of people that have to be illustrated. One of the illustrations is an old picture from a magazine that has to be recreated into a digital illustration.
