The job

1. Fix Cron timings
The cron timings for our automated email sending system needs to be tweaked as it is currently send out at wrong times. The auction times are every hour during office opening times Monday to Sunday 9am – 5pm with the last customer quotes list received by the customer at 6pm. Traders are sent any requests for quotes at :55 past the hour from any requests for quotes received in the previous hour, the trader gets a maximum of 1 hour to quote and then the comparison is returned to the customer. Traders first request for quotes will be at 9am from the over night queue with these results returned to the customer at 10am.

2a.The Auction cut off time.
Once the comparison list has been sent then no more bids should be accepted! Bidding is over and no more bids should be allowed. Any trader trying to bid after the hour should see “Bidding Now closed”. No one should be able to submit a bid after the close.

If a customer hasn’t selected a bid within 24 hours then the page should read “Your comparison has expired” to reach more people why not try expanding your willing to travel distance?” “

At the moment once a quote is selected it deactivates the rest of the quotes only by cancelling the previously accepted quote can a customer see the other links again.

3. Out Of Hours holding system
The out of hours system is supposed to gather all forms received requesting quotes outside office hours the office closes at 5pm and send them out at 8:55am the next morning. We believe the timings have been entered incorrectly. Although this may well need to be re written in your own code-way.


4. Upload Image/video
we currently have an image and video upload button. The image upload button needs to be a statuary requirement. We want the video to play from a thumbnail like with Gumtree and all the normally expected functions should work i.e. expanding video windows File upload progress bar.
(Done but not always stable and no upload file progress bar like the images)

5. Exchange Of Emails
There are details missing i.e Customers details, vehicle details.

6. Admin Changes Calender storage
Currently our database stores quotes in a pages 1,2, 3 format. While the previous developers were working they somehow lost the Number plate registration from All invoice, Paid Invoice, Cancelled Invoice folders this needs to be fixed .All backend folders including database quotes data should be stored and accessed in Sub folders i.e Jan, Feb March etc Each folder would have the days which you could click on to view the quotes for that day? So months, dates, years
