Title:Develop e-commerce website.

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

Hello,

I am a digital designer looking for a good web developer to assist me on this project.

My client recently had there website done, but the previous designer/developer did a bad job. So I am trying to redo this site from scratch but I need a competitive quote from a developer that can do the job, to pass on to my client, for approval.

Please keep in mind when quoting, that I will do all the designs for all the pages and you the developer will only be responsible to develop the website only.

---

The brief is to develop an e-commerce website for a Perspex (plastic) company

The website will need to contain an easy to use content management system (CMS), and give us the ability to add, remove and edit all the contents.

We will need JQuery banner with a nice effect to rotate images and links. (I will help to indentify a good JQuery plug-in). We will also require a lightbox effect for enlarging images, videos, etc. All this should be linked to the CMS.

A products section will be required divided in categories along with a search feature to find products. Products page will consist of images of the product, description, price alternative colours, and purchase button. We may also want a “related product” section or “customers who view this also viewed” section, on the individual product pages.

There will need to be a shopping cart and login/register feature, along with a payment system. (Perhaps Paypal)

There may be a blog / news section required. (Most likely)

We will need a subscribe to our newsletter section along with contact and enquiry forms.

We will also like to integrate social media, i.e. like this product, or tweet this product.

Obviously the website will need to be SEO friendly.

Please look through there rivals website, this will give you a good idea of the stucture to the website we are looking for.

This project should be ready to start within the next 2-3 weeks and I have done an initial design that the client likes.

What I require from you:
• Your most competitive quote/bid
• Time-line for you to complete this project
• Language and technology you intend to use for this website
• Samples of your best e-commerce website

The selected developer for this project will meet all of the above requirements along with;
• Good communication skills and give a prompt response to my question and/or queries
• Good time management, with the ability to meet the deadline set
• It is important that you can follow the instructions set, but I will also want you to add your input, if improvement are required

---

I look forward to your responses and bids
Any questions please let me know.

Thanks
