Website build

Hi i posted a job here yesterday but i was not specific enough in what i wanted so i had a lot of different offers, but they were very varied in price and quality. I would like to apologise to those people who bid for my job, but i did not want to accept a bid knowing that i had not been specific enough in my requirements and then ask you to do loads more work later.

I need a professional looking website, i want quality but it does not have to be very flashy or complicated.

I do not need any ordering system like paypal, google checkout or anything like that.

The site requirement itself will be quite basic. I have 11-12 products + have page+ contact us page. Each product will have a brief description, with a more details button, which once clicked will go into more details about that product. This detail will only be 4-5 lines of text, and i will provide an example of exactly how i want this to look.

I have a company logo already, in .jpg format.

I have been advised that using joomla, wordpress or drupal would be best as i can change the content and details later quite easily myself. Although to be honest i don't think i will ever have to do this as once the information is there i wont need to change it. However i have been advised that wordpress sites are easy to hack so would like something secure.

I have been told what i need more is a static site, but if you use joomla or drupal to build the site it would be easier for me to maintain in the future?

Again it is up to you how you build the site as i know very little about these things and I'm just taking the advice of a friend.

I do not have a domain name or webhost yet, but i have been advised of a few good hosts to go through, so i dont mind purchasing these myself. Unless you can provide me with details of reputable GOOD QUALITY HOSTS. i do not want the cheapest, i want somebody reliable. We can discuss who i am thinking about, and you can give me your opinions on others for me to review myself.

I would like the designer to also handle the SEO side of things and get my site search engine friendly.

I would also like the designer to be a little creative in what they do as yesterday i had offers of sites that look very cheap and to basic. I want it to look professional and classy. But i don't think my requirements are all that complex so this should not be hard for a good designer to achieve as my content is quite small, as I will provide you with a site which I what my site to look like, so affectively you will be building my site with similarities to the one I will show you after you've Bid.

This does not mean you have to have loads of flash images and pop up boxes, as i don't really require that.

Please can you give examples of your work, with site addresses, so i can look over them and see if you match my requirements.

Finally i would also like to add that i need a leaflet designing in the very near future, and also i will be needing ANOTHER website built, which will be a little more complex and which i would be willing to pay more for. Also i will be needing a little help with some graphic design stuff, but nothing complex...

I would like to work with the same person on all my projects and build up a good, solid, professional working relationship with them. As i have friends with businesses who would also take my recommendations on good/reputable people to work with.

THIS IS NOT AN E-COMMERCE SITE.

Additionally I am willing to pay the domain and hosting on top of the given budget, it is more important that it is Google friendly, and not ranked at number one regarding SEO.
