I am a lawyer that occassionally needs typing services. I use an Olympus DS-330 digital dictating machine and will send the dictated statement by email. I have one statement to type now. The statement will be about 10 minutes long.

Hello Ian, I have placed a bid already and am very interested in taking on this work at a basic rate. Please could you confirm for me what software will be required to open your dictation? I almost certainly have access to an appropriate program but would like to check. I'd like to know the timeframe required, as well - I should also be able to complete your transcription and return it to you within two days, but could work more quickly if necessary. Hi Ian, I previously worked for the civil service as an audio typist for the benifit fraud department, could you please confirm what format the email would be sent in so that I can ensure I have the correct software for the job, also can you confirm your timescale for completetion. Many Thanks. |

Hello Ian, Would be very interested in taking on this work for you. Could you confirm what program the dictation email will require to open it and what format you require the dictation typing up in please (I assume MS Word?).
