Sphere Construction Partnership is seeking an experienced, UK-based business development and lead-generation specialist to establish and maintain a consistent pipeline of suitable construction opportunities. We are an established construction company operating across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and surrounding areas. Our work includes domestic extensions, conversions, renovations and new builds, together with commercial, industrial and property-maintenance projects. This is not simply a list-building or data-entry assignment. We require someone who can research genuine opportunities, identify and contact decision-makers, develop relationships, qualify enquiries and arrange meetings, surveys or tender opportunities. Key responsibilities will include: • Identifying suitable live construction projects, planning applications and tender opportunities • Contacting architects, quantity surveyors, building surveyors, developers and property professionals • Approaching landlords, letting agents, property managers and organisations with property portfolios • Developing relationships with commercial clients and professional referrers • Identifying subcontract, framework and overflow opportunities from larger contractors • Contacting prospective clients by telephone and personalised email • Following up previous quotations and dormant enquiries • Qualifying each opportunity by scope, location, budget, timescale and decision-making authority • Maintaining an accurate CRM or shared pipeline • Providing a concise weekly activity and results report The successful freelancer must: • Be based in the United Kingdom • Have proven business-development, outbound-sales or appointment-setting experience • Ideally have experience within construction, property, building materials, facilities management or a related sector • Be confident making professional telephone calls to UK businesses • Have excellent written and spoken English • Be commercially aware and able to distinguish genuine opportunities from unsuitable or speculative enquiries • Be organised, persistent and comfortable working to measurable targets Applicants should explain: Their relevant construction, property or B2B sales experience How they would generate opportunities for Sphere during the first four weeks Which organisations and decision-makers they would target Examples of opportunities or appointments they have previously generated Their hourly rate and weekly availability Whether they are personally carrying out the work or using a team We propose an initial four-week trial of approximately 15 hours per week. I also love the reference to the 12 sided dodecahedron shape and the 12 pointed star of energy within that dodecahedron as shown on teh logo sample attached.
