He has also looked more widely at the nature of Arab society as well as the issues of freedom of speech, democracy and other advances in the political arena. His viewpoints, though critical, have not been unsympathetic, and have shaped his work. Mogib’s writing has covered not only these political concerns but also emotional themes dealing with love, loss and responsibility. It was a combination of classicism and the contemporary that guided him forward. Mogib is a widely published poet and writer. Mogib is also working as a journalist and Yemeni correspondent for the Dutch TV station VPRO, and has cooperated with Aljazeera TV. Added to that he has been involved in research for NGO's both locally and internationally. Mogib is also building an academic career, now lecturing on Human Rights at the the Lebanese International University in Sana'a. Recently Mogib was the only one from the Middle East nominated for an award presented this year in The Netherlands for the individual who has most actively promoted democracy.

Glen has worked in the broadcast media for almost twenty-nine years. He started his career in local radio as an... engineer before realising his real passion lie in front of the microphone, so the programme controller of Severn Sound in Gloucestershire gave him the weekly rock show that was back in 1980! Since he was ‘let loose’ on the air, he’s never looked back and has worked on radio stations in Birmingham, Coventry and was the breakfast presenter at Invicta FM in Kent gaining the station some of its highest ever listening figures during the 1990’s. His television journey began as a Continuity Announcer for TVS (the forerunner to ITV1 Meridian) in the South of England. From there he moved to London Weekend Television as ‘the voice of London’ until the demise of regional ITV in 2002. Other work has included Sky News, a host on the shopping channel QVC, numerous corporate productions and he currently works as a regular reporter and presenter for Meridian ITV1. He’s been a regular face with Markettiers 4DC as one of the ‘Webchat’ presenters and has lectured in broadcast radio journalism at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey. Glen also runs his own small and friendly video & audio production company Sounds Brilliant where here produces material for a broad range of corporate clients.
