Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hi there,
We currently have a website with a Wordpress frontend, and PHP user dashboard/backend hosted on GoDaddy. We're looking to move to a new frontend portion of the site which has been designed and is hosted on Flywheel, while maintaining the user/dashboard on GoDaddy.
We're looking to point our domain to our new website hosted on Flywheel (Wordpress hosts) (which we can do ourselves).
However, our old website (hosted on GoDaddy Linux hosting) consists of two components: the frontend website xyz.com (which is no longer needed) and the backend component xyz.com/myaccount (which we need to continue using).
- We need to point the domain (xyz.com) to the new website hosted on Flywheel.
- We need to keep the backend (xyz.com/myaccount) working on the current GoDaddy hosting.
- If we need to move the backend to app.xyz.com (instead of xyz.com/myaccount), we need to ensure that all links are working on app.xyz.com and all onboarding/forgot password emails are updated to work with app.xyz.com
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
