Website development and ongoing maintenance

Our main website is www.motorhome-city.co.uk. It was designed from scratch and contains our main motorhome database (bespoke design). I cannot provide the specific scripts/programmes used in its construction as I am not technically minded, but I am the main operator of the website.

Our other main websites (fosmotorhomehire.co.uk and Hirebuddies.com) were constructed in Joomla.

Motorhome City is our main website (as it contains the database, and attracts the highest visitor numbers). The other websites use the database as "frames" and are linked to the main database.

Please do not ask any technical questions as I take an "overview" of technical matters, and contract specialists for specialist work (e.g. SEO, design and website construction, development and maintenance).

We are now looking for a company or individual that has a full understanding of our websites construction and can perform the required work (including any operational problems with database issues).

We require a developer who has full knowledge of the construction of Motorhome City and can deal with developments, and provide assistance with database issues that arise e.g. yesterday we found a "ghost motorhome" on M-C, that did not have an owner attributed to it, so it had to be deleted from our system.

Lastly. We hope that the right person can assist us with the future developments of the websites, and provide positive expert input with regard to development. (e.g. we are considering video content, and moves to foreign servers).

We would prefer to work with a UK based individual or company (as we have previously contracted non-uk based companies, but are now fully aware of the issues and problems involved).

We will set a 3 month trial period for the suitable applicant(s), and take it from there.
