Job Description
We are looking for homebased telesales staff, to sell advertising space in our new magazine for work at home mums.
The ideal candidate will have magazine/newspaper/directory experience and the ability to close the sale.
We have an extensive database and will provide the leads, sample magazines and media pack.
This is a great role for someone who would like to work their own hours, while we provide full admin back at base.
We pay a base salary to cover your expenses and time, plus 20% commission.
We're very keen to employ committed, enthusiastic people, who are willing to grow with us as the business expands.

B. on 13/10/2011 14:24The majority of my years have been spent as a professional media planner/buyer in ad agencies covering all types of media and client accounts including womens and home interest. I have been sold to '000s of times believe me. I am currently selling for a B2B website targetting the Architectural market.

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
