General information for the business: HR Consultancy
Description of support work: I need a professional HR administrator (London based), who can undertake some admin tasks within my HR consultancy business. It is a small business and as part of the growth plans we are streamlining processes and how things are done. As a result, there is a need for a strong administrator with HR experience to assist in some of these admin tasks and to support me as the Managing Director of the business.
The tasks in involve:
- Drafting up contracts, offer letters, termination documents etc
- New starter administration such as sending new starter paperwork out etc
- Management of HR software - setting up new clients
- Monitoring and electronically filing invoices and timesheets
- Support recruitment consultant with recruitment activities such as setting up interviews and posting job ads etc as required
- Sending out HR newsletters and posting HR blogs on website etc
- Other admin duties as required
The work flow may be busy on some weeks and ad hoc on others. However, the plan is to find a trustworthy person whom to build a long term working relationship with as the work becomes more regular. I will expect a few hours per week initially however this will vary and grow eventually. If you want to be part of this journey and support the growth of the business please contact me.
It is important that you are confident in taking control of processes, speaking with clients via telephone and email and are willing to help on general admin tasks as necessary. Also important, is that you have a fairly decent understanding of a HR environment. I need to be able to trust that you know what you are doing and can take initiative as necessary.
****I am specifically looking for someone local to London please as there will be times that you will need to attend meetings to take minutes. I have had previous remote support (not based in London) which works only to an extent. Please do not send proposal if you are not in London or local to the city and unable to attend meetings as necessary. ****
I will want to see a copy of your CV please and will want to have a brief telephone screening/chat so I can explain a bit more to you. There is a lot of scope for this person as I will want support across two of my HR businesses so I do want to right person.
I am quite flexible and relaxed. Always wanting to have a laugh but at the same time, serious when it comes to business and providing services. I mention this as the successful person will be working quite closely with me. So needs to be prepared to hit the ground running and keep up with my fast pace!! :-)
