Description
Experience Level: Expert
NB - *UK-BASED DEVELOPERS ONLY PLEASE*
General information for the website: Golf Equipment Retail site
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: The site is hosted at http://kinggolf.co.uk/. It has been designed and developed by a current developer who has gone out of business before completing it. We now require completion as follows:
Task 0: Take a backup.
Task 1: "Click for price" by brand. We need to be able to restrict the price showing on some products until the product detail page due to supplier rules. Add a page under the "Product Import Settings" tab on the wp-admin that allows us to select a product "Brand" and flag as "Click for Price". (All products within this "Brand" will show "Click for Price" instead of a price except on the product detail page)
Task 2: The mobile site renders poorly. Create and install the Mobile template from supplied .png images.
Task 3: The iPad site renders poorly. Fix the CSS / Rendering issues on iPad / Tablet on Portrait and Landscape. (They should display as per the desktop version)
Task 4: Some products, in particular Nike Golf have colours set as, for example: 453 or Blk, Rd/Gn in the product feed, we need to be able to change this to a user readable colour.Add a page under the "Product Import Settings" tab on the wp-admin that allows us to alter the "colour" text set within the XML product feed. (eg. We would like to be able to setup the colour display - If colour in feed = Blk then display Black, If colour in feed = 011 then display Black)
Task 5: Many products have the "hand" set as, for example: RH or LH in the product feed, we need to be able to change this to a user readable "Right Hand" or "Left Hand". Add a page under the "Product Import Settings" tab on the wp-admin that allows us to alter the "hand" text set within the XML product feed. (eg. We would like to be able to setup the hand display - If hand in feed = RH then display Right Hand, If hand in feed = Left then display Left Hand)
Task 6: Many products have the "Shaft" set as, for example: S or R in the product feed, we need to be able to change this to a user readable "Stiff" or "Regular". Add a page under the "Product Import Settings" tab on the wp-admin that allows us to alter the "Shaft" text set within the XML product feed. (eg. We would like to be able to setup the shaft display - If shaft in feed = S then display Stiff, If hand in feed = Regular then display Regular)
Task 7: The filters on the clothing category and search pages do not work / are not setup. Add product filters to the clothing and club section that allows filtering by the relevant fields. (Size, Length etc for cloths, Shaft, Loft, Hand in clubs etc)
Task 8: The site is currently setup as "King Golf" - we need to change the brand to "Midlands Golf". We will be running the two sites together, but launching the site as Midlands Golf shortly before King Golf. We need to change the colour scheme to the Red / Grey shown in the "Midland Golf" Template Draft. (midlandgolftemplatedraft.jpg)
Note: There is likely to be ongoing development and optimisation work, both on these site and on others, if we can build a relationship of trust, reliability and quality with a UK-based developer.
CMS and Admin requirements: The site is built on Wordpress using WooCommerce.
Extra notes: UK-based developers only to bid please. Communication by telephone essential.
