A. P. on 22/06/2009 13:39Hi Steve,
We do a package (entry level) for logo design starting at 250 GBP but I see you have 90+ bids so perhaps many might be bids of less than that.
We are very experienced in branding and also web development. So if you do not ifnd someone let me know.
Did you say your web developer created the 'H' with the roof on it? you do know that, the web page is a template right? haha perhaps you do.
Many companies use them as do many web developers. You will however look like hundreds of other companies as you know they will have the same design and layout as you!
Good luck with that.
A. S. on 25/06/2009 13:34To be perfectly honest, the logo your web designer has come up with, perfectly fits the bill! This could be refined slightly, such as typography or the house illustration, but I'm sure they can do that for you.
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
