Description of Business Development: We are looking for an experienced, freelance Business Development Consultant to work with our new Accountancy, Finance & Office Support recruitment agency.
We are a professional consultancy who are moving away from the traditional KPI method of working, favoured by many agencies, to allow for an enhanced level of communication with both our clients & candidates. We are heavily focused on winning new business by consultation and reputation rather than hard sales so experience in fostering client relationships and a soft-sell approach is paramount for this position.
We will require you to contact companies in the London area to establish initial contact with Senior Decision makers and enquire about live vacancies. We will give you a personalised e-mail address for following up and access to a secure database where any information you gather and contact you make will need to be logged. Initially we are looking to work with someone on the basis of a 10 hour project, with the view to becoming an on-going arrangement if successful. We are willing to pay well for the right candidate as client contact and giving the right impression from the beginning is very important to us, please indicate the rate you would require when applying.
What we are looking for:
An experienced Business Development professional, perhaps with some experience of recruitment and recruitment sales.
An understanding of the recruitment industry and processes involved.
A flexible, professional attitude and excellent telephone manner.
The ability to engage with Senior Decision Makers and willingness to understand the industries our clients work in.
