Please note that the nature of this work requires that the freelancer be based in the United Kingdom only.
This work will require you to cold call contacts from a supplied list, and to secure on site meetings, or otherwise telephone or online appointments in order for me to introduce our products and services. Where it is not possible to set an appointment, you will email sales literature to the contact in order to facilitate a future follow up call. You will need to be confident in promoting IT software and consultancy services, as well as maintaining a basic, user-friendly CRM database with customer contact updates.
Required Skills:
• Ability to gain a sufficient level of knowledge of SAP ERP for the role
• Ability to get past gatekeepers
• Ability to determine who has purchasing power
• Strong success rate in setting appointments from cold calls
• Good understanding of the IT industry
• Ability to use and update Really Simple CRM and Google Calendar
This role requires integrity as well as sales ability; I do not invite the use of excessively high pressure or dishonest sales techniques.
Proposal & Selection Process:
• Please submit your proposal detailing your experience, your rate, and why you believe that you are the best freelancer for this work.
• I will contact each shortlisted freelancer to request a short call at a mutually convenient time in order to discuss the work and to establish your suitability.
• The role will then be awarded to the successful freelancer, who will be provided with as much (or as little) sales documentation as they feel is necessary for the role, according to your preference.
• I will then request a further call with you to ensure that you are happy with the information and to test your intended approach. Subsequent update and adjustment calls may also be necessary based on your feedback from initial calls.
• Any time spent by the successful freelancer in preparation or calls (to me or to customers) will be paid for at your standard hourly rate. Approximate prep time will be agreed in advance. Please ensure that your telephone costs are included in your hourly rate.
