Title:Video Editor

Location:Remote

Job Description

We are looking for a video editor who has previous experience in editing raw footage and turning them into a video showreel (to be used mostly for websites). We would provide the footage and you would edit them based on client brief and your own talent.
Job can be done remotely.
To apply for this post, we MUST see at least 1 -2 past examples of your work. If its on a website, then thats even better but not essential.

We have set a budget for the job during posting since its mandatory, however, do understand that the costs will depend on length of footage, motion graphics, etc .

Thanks.

I too would like some more information.

Is this a personal showreel for a broadcaster, as in like a journalist or presenter? Or for a corporate company?

I have done these things before, but would like some more information before bidding.

The showreels are mostly for corporate clients for them to give their website users more information about their product/service.

@Barry - We provide the raw footage to you (via Dropbox or yousendit) , give you the client brief (whether motion graphics required, subtitle, music etc), maybe provide some royalty free music samples from audijungle.net which you could use.

So is this an ongoing job? I have experience of editing showreels for both commercial and online distribution. Much like everyone else i would like some more information regarding the specifics of the content but it sounds good so far.
