Title:Script based calling to inbound enquiries - residential property sector
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
We are embarking on a marketing trial of services to landlords. Our text-based campaign to landlords and property owners actively advertising their property to let will generate a supply of inbound emails expressing an interested in our service. Your task will be to call them, pitch our straightforward services, obtain their email and contact details along with their consent for a follow up sales call then update our web based CRM system (ZohoCRM) then schedule a call for our field based sales agents.
In a trial period in the run up to Christmas we expect to generate 70 calls per week, the majority on a Thursday and Friday. You will need to provide the service between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Mon-Fri with a reduced service on Sat and preferably respond within 30mins of receiving an email. The hours of service could fit around domestic/child care arrangements if required. The average call length is likely to be 2min or less. In your bid please state if you are pricing your bid per hour or per call. A shared commission scheme based on sales would be considered in addition to the hourly rate - feel free to make a proposal.
Telephone sales skills and the ability to get good quality follow up calls for the sales field agents is more important that residential property/lettings knowledge.
In early January we will review the trial with the intention of increasing the volume.

Clarification Board
R. M. on 27/11/2009 13:56hello Nicholas,
i have vast experience with working with landlords and letting agents and i'm aware that this is one of the few growing sectors in the uk right now. This project is one that i would have a great interest in providing my services for.
just for clarification before i propose my bid:
would a list of private landlords be supplied?
how many hours would you require each week?
thank you
Roddy
N. F. on 29/11/2009 21:12Hi Roddy
Our text marketing will generate emails to you that contains the contact's mobile and their response/expressions of interest. You call the number in the email and the existing contact record in our CRM. We will start with 200 text's per week which will generate around 70 responses for you, typical call time 2-3 mins and if you dial promptly they will still have their phone on to receive the call. Avg call time around 2 mins max. Busiest days - Thur & Fri. During the trial, likely time requirement is 70 x 2 min = 140 min plus CRM update time = in the region of 3 hours /week. This will increase when we go to 300 texts per week pro-rata.
There is also some scope to take inbound calls from a small scale press campaign we are running for landlords.
M. L. on 02/12/2009 15:16Hi Nicholas,
As I read your post, It seems that it is a very interesting project to bid on. However, it is restricted to a certain area only. Would you consider other options like outsourcing it with highly experience and qualified centers in the Philippines?
Thanks,
Marcus L

UK only I'm afraid.
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
