M. S. on 23/11/2010 12:21We would like the content existing website, which can be viewed, revised and presented in a more integrated and appropriate style (i.e. suited to the activities and purposes of the society). we would also like to be able to add interactive elements at a later stage, but as yet we have no-one appointed to oversee that. We would like to have someone who will update the website when we do have new material or entries to insert. I am not sure what might be the time implications of what we hope to achieve.
A. M. on 23/11/2010 12:51Can you let me know the societies website name please. I have done a site before for an organisation I worked with you can view it here www.crossroadcarenee.org.uk

A. P. on 23/11/2010 13:57Hi Michael, could you advise if you have any further scope in your budget? I'd be happy to look at this for you, unfortunately the current budget is below my rate.
Many thanks,
Andy
M. G. on 23/11/2010 15:11Dear Michael,
It'd be useful to know what your host server can accommodate in terms of technologies (so we can bid on a site with a content management capability that would allow someone to more easily update the pages). Could you please advise - or advise the name of your host and what package you've signed up for?
Thanks
Mark

M. S. on 23/11/2010 20:10We are currently using hosting facilities at someone's work place, I think, but will now need to find a new arrangement.

M. S. on 23/11/2010 20:24As far as I understand these things, we will want to be able to receive messages but I am not entirely clear what 'dynamic' refers to precisely.
A. A. on 23/11/2010 20:27HI MIchael S,
Dynamic means you can change the page content it self no need of any help.
When ever you want to change the content just log in into admin panel
and update the content.

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
