W. H. on 04/02/2010 15:54Surely the Uni has a design department?
M. G. on 04/02/2010 17:21If the list may be subject to change and no specs yet, how can you fix the fee in advance?
Difficult to bid on intentions...
G. H. on 04/02/2010 17:39All this can be done but the brief is . . . brief!
Please can you be more specific?
Thanks

M. O. on 04/02/2010 23:37You are asking quite a lot for between £250 and £500. And you say subject to change - Never mind being a dream to work with, I think you are living in a dream world if you expect a professional to produce all that for the pittance you are offering.
You will only attract students or amateurs with this I'm afraid. I haven't done 34 years in this business to be insulted with peanuts.
A. R. on 05/02/2010 08:30I am essentially looking for one design, which is then formatted in a number of different layouts.
I will have an exact spec by later on Today.
A. R. on 05/02/2010 08:33I should have added, this is of course not including the cost of production.
S. K. on 05/02/2010 08:41"dream to work with"... and in your dreams if you think that budget is enough - amatures only need apply.
A. R. on 05/02/2010 08:47Thank you for the helpful comments from those who believe the budget is too low.
R. M. on 05/02/2010 12:39I think if you are only looking for one design then the budget is quite good. As you will see in my bid this is how I have bidded and the one design can be reproduced across the different items. I can also quote for the printing separately.
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
