W. B. on 26/04/2010 12:35Deborah, locations vary depending upon the training requirements of our customers. One day it might be Manchester, another day Stoke, or Nottingham, Gateshead. We deliver training to the NHS and Local Authorities on around 300 different topics eg Stress Management, Mental Health, Team Development etc etc. Hope this helps. Wendy
S. S. on 26/04/2010 12:50In order to quote accurately, can you advise on the following :
How many events are planned in each location.
Who is booking the venues or is this part of the assistance you require?
How many pre-event man days do you anticipate this taking?

W. B. on 26/04/2010 13:00This is a rolling assignment. We have events planned many months ahead and they take place across the UK. We already have a small team of freelances in place in certain areas but not others. The events are in house so the customer provides the venue. No pre event man days are needed. We are looking for freelances to arrive at venue on day and make sure the event goes to plan. We would appreciate bidders quoting a day rate and also a rate for events when travel is needed the previous evening. We pay all out of pocket expenses including hotels where accommodation is needed.

C. H. on 14/05/2010 16:42Hi Wendy,
This sounds like an interesting assignment. I am familiar with the public sector having worked in that field for a number of years. Events and workshops have always been part of my role which I enjoyed.
I am in the London area and would be able to support you there if you don't have anyone lined up yet.
Please let me know when this is due to start?
How many estimated hours of work would you expect a day or per event?
Thanks

W. B. on 05/11/2010 16:39I apologise for not replying before. I have only just seen this. As it happens, we do have cover in the London area. Would appreciate all bids/approaches through private message system unless clarification of the job is required.
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
