C. T. on 12/01/2010 19:26Please let me have more details about this rather vague assignment. I have over twenty years experience in MS Office Suite Apps and can carry out this assignment but I do need more information before I submit a bid.

S. C. on 13/01/2010 16:58If you're looking for personnel in the plural, Paul, would that be 80 hours work each ...
... or would you be dividing 80 hours work between x amount of successful applicants?
P. B. on 13/01/2010 17:11At this stage, we're looking for 1 person to carry out the project which we anticipate will take 80 hours for that 1 person. There is a possibility that we may need more than 1 person (depending on internal factors at our organisation which will become clearer over the next week or so). If we do, the work for the additional people needed would also be for 80 hours, so your quote should be for the full 80 hours. Hope that clarifies things, Simon.
S. C. on 16/01/2010 10:10Thank you, Paul. I'll start working on my quote, then. All the best to you.
P. J. on 18/01/2010 22:26Hi,
I was wondering if you could clarify somthing for me, the 80hrs that are required is the total length of the project from start to finish?...would this be 80hrs per week for the weeks stated in February, or is the 80hrs for the total of the 3/4 wks work.
I look forward to your earliest response.
Kind Regards
Paul.
P. B. on 18/01/2010 22:32The 80hrs is the total length of the project from start to finish not 80hrs per week.
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords

- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
